school children and understanding of the make up of Multi Cultural
Britain.

and develop children’s understanding of what racism and prejudice
against race religion or creed is.

children understand the effects of racism, and feelings of a victim of

understand why racism takes place, and in what ways.

and help pupils themselves to realize the need to eradicate all sorts
of racism and combat the arrival of any sort of racism.

staff and teachers understand what is racism.

staff to notice and detect racism, and advice how to react to it.

develop pupils to develop respect for all races, religions and
cultures.

give an understanding of a variety of cultural traditions and

the participant with a richer knowledge of many different cultures,
religions and races, to understand their participation in society, to
understand the immorality in racism, the need to respect all other

anti-social behaviour including bullying, graffiti, litter, noise
pollution, truancy and juvenile crime.

introduce career planning and the detrimental effects to career
prospects anti-social behaviour can bring. The consequences of
anti-social behaviour, truancy and juvenile crime are very well
illustrated in David's story, a video interview of a young man
which is part of the RCA curriculum. Pupils answer thought-provoking
